NC Governor Issues Executive 30-Day Stay at Home Order on March 27, 2020
 
Warm weather has arrived and there’s no better way to socially distance effectively than with your family on a boat! 
 
North Point Watersports qualifies as an Essential Business based on Section 2, Paragraph C, Subparagraph 12 of Executive Order No. 121. That designation allows us to remain open to serve our customers in all aspects of our business, though we have to adjust how we deliver some services to comply with the order. We have instructed our staff to follow the guidelines set forth by the CDC in order to prevent contracting the COVID-19 virus. We have also asked them to stay home if they feel they have even the slightest symptoms characteristic of the virus. In order to protect the health of our customers, we ask customers to do the same. 
 
Our intention is to continue delivering award-winning service to our customers any way we can during these unprecedented times. Customers who currently have repair or maintenance services underway, please rest assured that we are committed to completing those services so you can be back on the water as soon as possible. To our customers that recently purchased new boats and are awaiting delivery, we will deliver your boat as soon as possible and will do everything we can to accommodate your schedule in taking delivery. 
 
As mentioned before, in order to comply with the Governor’s Executive Order, we must make the following adjustments and ask your assistance in doing so:
 
  • We will be limiting our showroom to one family of customers at a time. This will enable each family of customers to feel more comfortable maintaining social distance from others and will allow us to properly clean the area after each visit. 
  • Please understand that we have instructed our staff to avoid shaking hands until further notice to protect everyone.
  • Parts & Service Department customers are asked to stay near the checkout counter and keep a minimum distance of 6’ from any other individuals. Please only one customer at the checkout counter at a time.
  • In order to ensure we can deliver the service you deserve, we ask that you schedule an appointment with us whether you plan to visit for Service, Parts, or Sales.
  • In addition to the mobile service we have always offered, our Sales staff can bring the boat you’re interested in to your dock or we can meet at a marina for a test drive. 
  • If you’d like a virtual tour of any boat, please feel free to contact our Sales team and request a video chat where we can walk through the features of any boat in our inventory. 
  • As always, our web site will have our new and pre-owned inventory up to date.
